Equipping the saints of God for the works of God
Part of the mission of Citipointe Nashville is to equip the saints of God for the works of God. The Academy exists for anyone in the church who wants to passionately pursue Christ in a community seeking to serve Him without compromise — while deepening their understanding of both theology and ministry.
Practically, that happens three ways: Monday night classes, Serve Saturdays once a month, and a personal growth track — partnering with the church or a ministry beyond it in an area that aligns with the gifts God has given you.
Three ways you'll grow
Each night is split in two. The first part — about an hour and fifteen minutes — centers on the theological concepts that shape and define the Christian faith, followed by Q&A in a classroom environment. Doctrines like the Trinity, Revelation, and Justification, among many others, explored together as a class.
The second part brings in guest speakers gifted in the aspects of ministry students are seeking to grow in — prophecy, evangelism, and leadership among many others.
Once a month, students learn outside the classroom in a team environment. Citipointe partners with ministries across the city — Red Frogs and Freedom Collective offer unique environments to evangelize and serve, and the Academy has been serving the homeless by connecting with shelters to provide food.
These are just a few of the ways the group serves the community — developing a love for the lost, and for Jesus.
The Academy partners with each student to find an area or track for growth that fits the gifts and calling on their lives — serving with the church, or with a ministry beyond it.
We are believing for each student to reach their God-given destiny. As a group, we want to call out the best and the future God has placed within each of them.

The class schedule
Monday nights, September through May. Every class pairs theology with Q&A — and the second half of each night features guest speakers on prophecy, evangelism, leadership, and more.
